Heh.. Good that I am safe here in Linux

I only got one serious virus in my entire life (I used Windows back then), which turned my wallpaper to black, infected stuff, slowed everything down, etc.

If you think linux is virus-free then you're totally wrong. It's even easier to find exploit because linux is open-sourced.

@user mafia_man:
You must be mentally retarded to enter root password into malware application. Unless otherwise, you're safe. If anyone is using root for everyday stuff (browsing net, etc.), I got some sad news for them.

Not only Windows and Linux. Remember about Android or even old friend Symbian.

My mostly annoying virus was Fake Alert. Read about it.

Yes. But it is also faster to fix those security holes.

In my opinion the weirdest virus I've ever had in my PC's were a type of WinSock corruption virus with more epic fail sauce bound to it. I was almost forced to reformat my Windows XP SP2 computer because of it, eventually I just formatted because the internet worked for like 5 minutes but then it was gone for the rest of the time. It's a weird virus.

It's probably one of the nastiest viruses ever invented to date too...
