Counter-Strike:GO vs Unreal Tournament
11 replies I've been thinking about buying UT3 or CS:Go but here's the dilemma. As a developer, I want to be able to make mods for a big community for generations to come(hence forth CS:Go and UT3). IMHO I think Counter-Strike is addictive with a large community. Unreal Tournament is also addictive beautify art and somewhat medium community(because of how long its been out). I dunno, I want your opinion. What should I buy? Don't buy UT3. UT (4), not called UT4 but just UT, is in the works and will be free, and will have a steam like market where you can upload your mods and give them out for free, or even sell them. I'd just wait for the free Unreal Tournament and work on that one. What 
ohaz said. Also, UT3 was shit anyways. So go buy CS:GO and wait for the new UT. Cool! I just brought counter-strike, it's not a bad game actually! 
I'd personally go for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive mainly due to the fact that you can contribute to the community by means of maps, sprays, 3D modelling or simply being a player in the game and winning rounds or matches.
Not to say Unreal Tournament isn't worth it but I'd go for CS:GO because it's a bigger community overall. Same as everyone above It is good that you choosed cs go because you can farm items and then sell them and for the earned money you can buy unreal tournament. I've buyed half life with the money I earned very fast from these yellow cases when they just apeared in last december Buy Counter Strike: Global Offensive. I bought this game and have not regretted it. IMHO it's so cool! Buy Insurgency. It's more hardcore and way better in my opinion. Buy Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, is the best. The good one is the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
