I broke my laptop today and i need new one as soon as possible because i have exams next week. I got budget of 400 so i had to find something and i found two following ones for sale:

HP15AB083NO HP LT A8-7410/8GB/1008G/15.6F (Original price 600)

SATL50B1R1 TO LT i7-4510U/6GB/750GB/15.6 (Original price 700)

Someone tell my which one is better? I got like two days left so i need to know. Please dont make me regret, if there are any better ones, please suggest laptops for less than 500.

Thank you!

Why did you post into the german section?

i7-4510U is more powerful than A8-7410, if you keep it cool for it to boost the clock speed.
As for suggesting, I don't even know what your requirements are.

Moved it to English section.
I only see a bunch of letters. In other words, no links.
From behalf of all lazy people here, I'd like to ask you to put links for the choices.
Thanks.

@user VADemon: Oh sorry, im using phone so i didnt notice. I need it mainly for studying and using some tools for study. It also would be nice if it could run games like cs
The only thing that bothers me is toshiba, i have never had one so i dont know about it. I always had HP
HP:

Toshiba:

Old laptop:

It still works but "opening leg" is damaged along the screen and wont open but its old so i dont bother repairing it here in Finland. (Costs a lot)

I've had two Toshiba laptops and by personal experience they are absolutely fine. Nothing wrong with them at all.

If you're not going to stick with your budget laptop for longer than a year and plan to buy a better one later in life or go full desktop my advice is just go with the most cheapest and decent one you can find. There are more comments and ratings for those laptops by people from all over the world across multiple websites than everyone here combined and can provide more help.

Toshiba has written

That's the ultimate peasant resolution. I didn't find the HP notebook, but it'll be the same I think.
I totally recommend a Full HD display. If you still want to choose one of those, take the Toshiba one because of the faster CPU.

I'd prefer something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/15-6-inch-Full-HD-Notebook-Windows-Icicle/dp/B01CGGOUJM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1474056958&sr=8-1&keywords=full+hd+notebook

If you are looking for a laptop where the main focus is studying then get the one with a better battery life. You never know when you'll be able to plug it in. From my experience processing power is not really that important.

Well, I once used an AMD APU laptop and I have to say that its battery life is pretty good. Actually excellent comparing it to my toshiba i7 laptop (but maybe it is my laptop that has problems).

Considering that the i7 one only has integrated graphics, this is my opinion:
Go with the AMD one if you're also willing to play some games or use anything that requires a GPU in future (because it has a decent APU). In case you're not doing that, go with the i7 one, it is indeed much more powerful on the CPU side.

@user Black Wolf: I second user Livia's advice.
I'd also like to say that you should go with the cheapest and weakest option if you're only going to use it for studying (and play normal games at home on a desktop). I don't know what you're studying but it's very unlikely that you'll need anything good.

I study Software Engineering and apart from programs, it's only microsoft office and lots of browsing. Never needed to execute something that would require good processing power.

I was too late for toshiba and bought HP, later read your posts and returned it. I ended up buying cheaper laptop with more battery life (lenovo) with same specs (im surprised myself too). Thanks a lot
