To the point, will you make it to where if someone try's to connect to a server running a custom map, and the player doesn't have the map then it will auto download? Like on real counter-strike. I know this may generate lag on the actual server, so maybe make it an option for the server host to choose/or not. I have made plenty of custom maps, but people don't want to go to a separate website to download them.

But maybe someone will do a function for map download cuz CS2D is open source.
Or cant you make like a cd2d.unrealsoftware.de and put the website there??

Thats true. I'm not going to work on cs2d in future. CS2D.com will not be up again unless someone wants to host it ( fpsbanana.com doesn't host it anymore but they still own the domain and they would accept a domain transfer if I requested it)
And did you ask cluverfish yet if you can the domain?
