-free
-easy to set up/test
disadvantages of "netbook servers"

-limited by your internet
---unstable pings
---usually you can only host 1/2 servers
---your internet is nowhere as good as a datacenter for providing low pings
---if you use ur internet while hosting the server, the server will lag
-your computer must be on if you want your server to be on.
-people have to deal with "server advantage."
anyway more info about mostafa's servers:
they are hosted in dallas, texas, usa with probably the best datacenter there: softlayer
people (with decent internet) throughout north america get 40ms ping to the server

And, I live in North America. The internet connection here is spotty, at the least. I get 4mbps in my area. The nation average is around 5-6mbps. Most Americans have ping in the 100s.

You are friggin lucky, here in south africa we pay extreme bux for shit internet, on CS2D i ALWAYS have more than 300ms of lag, and it spikes constantly.
Back on topic:
No i don;t think you should post ads here, and second of all no one will want to buy a server from you since there are already sooooo many servers with excelent ping for many people. I do remember DC saying in a post somewhere that the forum wasn't a free-ad-wall at the local shopping centre or something like that.

1. He actually has 3 servers which are located within data centers. Locations: Texas, Illinois, Georgia
2. He doesn't have much knowledge of site creation other than the free point and click websites.
As an added bonus I also live in North America and I have well above the national average (15mbps).
I don't see what you mean about ping in the 100s.
I only get ping in the 100s to servers in Brasil/Europe/Russia.

I'd rather buy a server from there than from that other crappy website...

MostAfa's servers aren't in germany I think. If you were addressing Banaan, well in his case he is not a business because: he mostly sells to family and friends, does not make substantial profit, is not financially responsible for the servers, does not have people work for him and does not spend enough time on doing it and is too young.
as soon he is selling something he have to have registered license. even if hes only selling the server for 0,01€ for his neighbour or his friend. it doesnt matter who buys the server it matter that he sellls them so he needs one.
