He can simply download unity 5 and open the project, there is no need to "switch"
It's just a new major unity update.
I suppose he will indeed use Unity 5

I already switched to Unity 5. The code works without manual changes but some shaders are a bit fucked up now. I didn't have time to care about it yet.

DC, first time in a long while that I've logged in and posted something.

Keep up the good work. You're amazing, coding and designing all on your own.

I hope you have the financial backing to pursue the development of this game on your own without feeling discouraged.

Last update is from February, it would be nice to know what you are doing in real life. Do you have some kind of blog?

@user GeoB99: I'm pretty sure he is aware of the dev blog (he even said when I posted the last entry) and asked for a blog where I tell about my real life.

@user Divine: No I don't have such a blog but I can give you a quick summary of recent events: I quit my job at 1&1 and I'll move from Koblenz to Hamburg at the end of this month to start working at Good Game Studios. That's why I currently have even less time than I have anyway (because I'm working in a full time job 8h per day). So financial backing is not an issue, time is.

Amazing, what do you work on in the game studio? Any major projects, or are you just practicing on some stuff? That's great, I love your work, the person who you are (You can tell a lot about a person through their internet behavior), and just generally that you were/are motivated enough to do what you're doing.

Does the gaming studio develop anything apart from small useless games (in most cases), but instead larger scale games such as the ones Nexon, Gamersfirst, bigpoint produce? Would they allow you to use their resources to work on Stranded 3? Are they aware of you developing Stranded 3?

Do you use unrealsoftware.de on your resume?

Soooo many questions I'd like to ask, even though I had all this time.

Oh and how old are you
And good choice on Hamburg, beautiful area. √

user Divine, take your time to search. I would like to call "Good Game Studios" "Gay Game Studios" for making these Farmville-alike games, but whatever, user DC found a job there, good for him.

And for god's sake, user Divine, uninstall the freakin' adware and malware from your PC.

Well that's embarrassing, lol... Good eye.
Damn CS2D cheats installed a web browser hijacker

As for the story singleplayer it will be same like in S2 or you will add more things in the story (like more missions and objectives to fulfil)?
I know, we are too far for this but just in your opinion and yea this question is a bit dumb ...

I bet it will. It's not called Stranded 3 for no reason.
Stranded 2 was interesting, haven't played S1.

And I was kidding about the cheating/hacking.

Will Stranded III retain Stranded II's cartoonish style or will it have realistic shapes?

have you seen the asset pictures he has released?
it pretty much sums up the art style he's going for.

actually if you weren't trying to be sassy, you would realize this is Dc's intended style, otherwise the first concept would be set with a realistic style.

its fine, you can admit your wrong.
