Stranded II Mods TheSurvivalist:Christmas Update 12-24-19Basically i can just walk in front of me in a straight line without doing anything else a every few seconds my game will kind of "spike" for 0.5 to 2 seconds randomly. Hard to hunt animals or run away if your game keep freezing like that.
Crafting 10 bottles with clay still only give you 1 pottery skill point!
Real sorry about this, but due to Lonelywolf's persistence in posting his lag issue, I actually found a problem that IS causing a hiccup when your walking around. I have fixed it after about 6 hours looking for the issue and working on it.

Re-Download the update and your game will be smoother than before. Fixed
Explanation:
Every 1.5 seconds the engine is "parsed" running a script that checks if your standing on the ground or not. It is part of the "fall detection" script so the player takes damage when falling. Well...the script was checking even with both feet are on the ground so the engine would be "spammed" when you move your feet...I have re-scripted this to parse only when your feet are off the ground more then like 8 meters...like jumping of a rock or out of a tree or off a building...not when your simply walking around or running and jumping around on the ground itself. So be careful when jumping off stuff now...you can break your leg sometimes on normal mode, and more often on hard mode.
Anyways...sorry about the bad upload...simply re-download it, for a smoother experience.
I noticed you changed the lion.
Also did you do anything to the monsters behaviour? Like fishes or turtles?
Some of that sea colored water just make it hard to spot fishes. Particulary piranas.
No real bug found so far, i'd need to play more.
PS: Bees are annoying!
This Patch will give you 10 pottery skill-ups when making 10 clay bottles, instead of 1 skill-up:

This patch will return your hardened clay mug after drinking coffee, instead of a soft clay mug:

These files are tiny and take like 1 second to download.
1) Download the patch and unzip it.
2) Copy/Paste or Drag/Drop the .inf file into the mods\MassiveMod\mods\sys folder.
3) Choose to "over-write" or "replace" the file.
4) Done
If you download the original mod after this posted time-stamp they are already included in the Update.
EDIT: Just re-download the NEW update which includes these fixes.

-Catching piranhas using a fishing rod only gives fish instead of the correct piranha meat they drop when you kill them.
-Fishing with a lure will sometimes give the message "lure used" except there's no reason under it e.g. whether fish caught, none ect.
Is prospecting chance determined by mining or digging level? I have a long line of stone deposits, still no luck finding iron.
I also seem to sometimes see catching a fish causes multiple fish in the sea to dissapear. Maybe i'm just seeing things.
Could you please also add Clay and Crystal to the prospecting thx

Pickaxe a bit slow compared to let's say...Steel hammer BUT they mostly give you what you except to drop from that rock with a higher level chance.
In other words, using a pickaxe mean more iron, sulfur and things like that while giving you less rocks, pebbles. etc
If you don't have one yet usually i just use the best hammer i have laying around.
In the shovel options, split up "digging for iron ore" and "digging for stone rocks" ?
Same for coal and gold. That way it would be less troublesome for players. on the other hand you can make it harder to dig one up, or something.

It provides actual coal nuggets you can burn in the forge with longer burn time, crush into dust for making steel, and providing a source of Iron nugget at the same time. It is a reward for high digging level plus a high mining level, together.

When fishing with the fly rod, and it only says "Lure Used" you are out of range of the rainbow fish. I added a message now, as you get with the fishing rod, that you need to be closer. fixed for next update. Nice find Data!

3 level ups EACH every time you FIND...
In the rucksack you're able to scroll up using the mouse wheel, but not down. Are you able to fix this? thx
and no, I can not make the rucksack scroll down it only goes one-way. I would have to pay $100 for Blitz3D to decompile the .exe source code, and re-compile it after recoding stuff. I will be done with this mod though in about 4 more updates...
then I will be continuing my work on my own stand-alone survival game I have already started months ago, Epic Survivor from my own website n stuff. JBJsolutions.com. I just never planned to throw any money into this free mod, this was just for the fun of it, and you all have grown on me over the last year n 1/2 or so.
I just want to finish what I started

Again I must apologize for my recent mistakes in prematurely posting downloads...especially when I broke more scripts than i fixed. I have played and fixed and played the last 2 days and I have to re-post, once again, this new download. I believe I fixed all the lag crap I have been working on and finally got it together in one good download. 06-13-14. Very sorry to those who have had to do multiply downloads...very sorry. Please give this one a play, let me know what you think.

The updates are being uploaded now at 1024x768 screen resolution...it should load for you properly. I think some people got black screen when I loaded it at a higher resolution if your computer cannot handle them...like 1366x768
