Please put big images in spoiler tags, otherwise you're going to have a bad time. /Leiche Dunno what's the purpose of a "mannete" but I feel that this is an idea more or less. If you want to share your ideas for CS2D, you could have use this thread instead ( Ideas for CS2D - READ THE FIRST POST (OP)!).
Unless, if you're trying to post an idea that's completely different such as suggesting a new game or a game that has a same core engine (i.e. CS2D which uses BlitzMax) then, unfortunately, DC can't realize games from others (he's even busy at developing S3).
I have a great idea for a new game! What should I do? He's asking for CS2D to work with a controller pad. Still don't know what that is? Check Sparty's second image.
That's pretty much the only French word I know. PCMR does not need gamepads. You proposed CS2D needs to add "mannete" but you haven't explained what is "mannete". How are we supposed to know what are you actually thinking about? You propose a short and blurry idea.
Will DC be adding handcuffs? No. Why? It's because the original CS game series do not have a part of handcuffing terrorists. @ Talented Doge: He's a french guy like me, manette is a gamepad., next time just look and read other comments and ya will understand what is a manette. I think he means the game pad !
MaxmyA_TN No shit. the comments above even talks about the bloody gamepad or controller pad I think he means play CS2D with controller. How possible ??? Hey, guys, I have a hunch that he means a controller.
Hmmm, if only someone could confirm this. DC Admin Offline
Maybe Slooper 1 is just trolling. Making up a random word and asking for its support. Then never coming back, keeping people clueless...
@ Slooper 1: I have no idea what you are talking about. Please explain. DC has written

He meant if it is possible for CS2D to work with a controller pad or not. It has been already said (check Yates' post) though. DC Admin Offline
Oh, I see. No, there is no controller support and it's not really planned because I'm not a controller guy and I also don't have a decent controller so it's not possible for me to test it.
Send me a good controller and I might change my mind How would that even work in-game. Left stick moving player, right stick moving cursor? I can imagine right stick moving the cursor in a perfect circle around the player, but how would zooming work? Using different buttons to move the cursor in and outwards? Right stick moving the cursor would be very clunky, but I guess you wouldn't have to change much. Or maybe make the cursor super fast, and pressing some shoulder button would slow the cursor down, so you can still use menus and aim carefully. DC Admin Offline
You would use one stick for aiming. The crosshair would be in a fixed distance so you just control the direction, which is enough for CS2D. Except for grenades which would need a little modification.
But yeah, it would probably suck anyway. Not enough keys to do everything as quickly and precisly as you could do it with a keyboard and mouse combination. I think you always have a huge advantage with that over controllers.
