@ Alistaire, I got it after your second post while talking to me. But first time it was just confusing, so I had to troll you a little there, place some @'ts so people know to who you speak.
And also, I believe that Redoxx- was talking about drop and hold images.
Yea its fairly obvious the 3rd image is just the reference image. I have it in my favs on deviant art.
Also I didn't use Wikipedia >> Unlike most nubs I actually learn this stuff its rather interesting and cool to be able to do things like say put a penny through a 3 inch slab of steel >:3 Just goes to show that science is fun it teaches you how to do some very destructive things.
@ Alistaire, That third image is called reference image. Thats just to show what gun she used to copy into 2D version, thats totally legal unless she chops-crops it and uses it as her own which she ain't doing ;]
Don't know about literally uploading it, but then again, the image has author signature on it.
Also its "finally" for me since I wasn't here for a long time
@ Alistaire: Well, you don't need menu image. Its just me who makes unneeded menu images on weapons that don't need one(don't use one), I'm just crazy.
Its good to see that people are finally making cool and unusual "futuristic" weapons.
On topic: I believe it can be done much better, although its too skinny(as you may noticed that you can't place that much details). Also, making it bigger a little so you can fit what ever detail you want in it wont make the skin worse, but better, just don't make it overgrown ...
Aside from the fact that it has not real way to compensate for the massive amount of recoil design wise its well made.
In RL tho the recoil from that thing would depending on the power supply probably shatter your arms if not rip 1 or both of them off.
I speak from a bit of experience coil and rail guns are extremely powerful even to the point that a simple 100KJ gun will wear out its armature and other parts in about 2-4 shots after which the gun may explode if continued to fire so yea ... these things are a pain in the ass to maintain and build.
